Fight Fatigue A new study shows that low intensity exercise can have a big impact on stamina – reducing fatigue by 65 percent and boosting overall energy levels by 20 percent. This information comes from a study published in the February 2008 issue of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic by researchers at the University of Georgia. Non-exercising, healthy people who reported having chronic fatigue were divided into three groups: One group rode a stationary bike three times a week for six weeks at a “moderately intense” level; the second group exercised on the bike but at a leisurely pace; and the third group did no exercise. Results showed that the volunteers in the two groups who exercised increased their energy levels by 20 percent over the volunteers who did no exercise, and the low intensity group actually reduced their fatigue more than the moderate exercise group.

So, if you frequently find yourself low in energy, try going for a walk for 20 or 30 minutes...you'll feel much better for it.
